Re: Potential Au pair Positions:

Greetings. I am a mature female student about to do a 60 week course in Post-Graduate Pharmaceutical Studies (the course finishes at 3 p.m. each day on Symond Street). I am keen to find an Au pair position whereby I can drop children off to school and pick them up in the afternoon/ evening care until a parent(s) gets home from work. I have had three girls of my own who have flown the nest, so I know the score. They have scrubbed up nicely and are all successful young ladies in their own right. While living in the UK I worked as a nanny in London and was a Registered Childminder. I have also worked for two Childcare Agencies in New Zealand in more recent years so can provide local references.

Do you have any parents at the school that need help with childcare in return for board and lodgings? I was born in New Zealand, rarely drink and do not smoke. I have a clean driving license, First Aid Certificate and am happy to help with housework and cooking. I also play the piano and make a mean sponge pudding.

Babysitter available!!

Hi, my name is Jess Webb and I am a local teenager who is available for babysitting. I am 14 years old and live in St Marys Bay, I can babysit for any age. I am comfortable with animals as I have a dog. I recently completed the Level One First Aid Course with St Johns. The hours I am available are Fridays- after 6.30PM, Saturdays after 3PM and Sundays. Calling any Year 3 and 4 kids who are interested in learning some netball skills.

My name is Hayley and I’m a year 7 at St Mary’s. I was a previous student at Ponsonby and have just completed my netball umpiring course. I’m looking to run some netball sessions on Saturday afternoons at Ponsonby Primary from 2-3pm. Rain or shine- Top court by the library.

There is no need to commit, just turn up to the sessions that suit you. If you do want to come, please wear activewear, including good sports shoes. Also please bring a gold coin which will go towards my fundraising efforts for kids less fortunate than us (kidscan https://www.kidscan.org.nz/)

Also, my mum (aka Mrs Gartshore to the kids) will be there to supervise each week so feel free to drop and go!
